Between WWI and WWII, the German jewelry industry was busy making glass look like semi-precious stones for the booming costume jewelry business in Providence, Rhode Island. These great pieces of faux turquoise have all the veining and shots of gold you would find in real turquoise. They lean towards to bluer sort or turquoise as opposed to the green. Each centerpiece is set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp made in Istanbul. There are two styles available. The necklace clasp is one ring and is set the long way. It is 38 mm fron ring to ring and 19 mm wide. The second style is what I envisioned as a bracelet clasp. The centerpiece is set horizontally and would look great in the center of your wrist. Because it is a big centerpiece, it has three rings. It is 32 mm from ring to ring and 27 mm from top to bottom.
